In Oregon, the Public Employees Retirement System implements Domestic Relations Orders (DROs) for members of the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) and Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP). For the Oregon Savings Growth Plan (OSGP) a Qualified Domestic Relations Order is required and is administered by the Public Employees Retirement System. At the time of divorce or dissolution of marriage, plan benefits may be divided between the participant or member and that person’s spouse. In order to effectuate a division of the pension benefits, an appropriate Order must be prepared and submitted to the Plan Administrator. The appropriate Orders generated by our online service are specific to each System or Plan.
